Structure Protection – Covers the cost to replace or repair your mobile home when they’ve been damaged or destroyed by fire, wind, explosion and other elements such as storms. Check with your agent if Hurricane coverage is included or if you have to pay extra. Flood coverage is not included.
Personal Property Protection – Covers the cost to replace your personal property – clothing, furniture, tools, electronics, etc. when they are damaged or stolen. The same applies here for hurricanes and floods.
Additional Living Expenses – Covers additional living expenses when your mobile home is being repaired or is too damaged to reside in. This includes hotel bills, food, etc.
Liability Protection – Covers injuries to visitors, including medical bills and legal fees.
Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase Mobile Home Insurance. You will not be able to purchase any type of homeowners insurance, including Manufactured or Mobile Home Insurance when a tropical storm or hurricane is announced to hit Florida.
